I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 220 | September 6, 2007

Um, don’t ask me why I’m hugging the Buddha statue. Amanda and I had to go inspect the space where we’re having our Welcome Home party to figure out what kind of decorations we’ll need to buy. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there: Besides having awesome views of the New York City skyline, the apartment has an exotic feel—thanks to the white lights, palms trees and Tiki torches. Yes, I think this will be a very fun celebration indeed.

Now I just have to decide which “country” I’m going to dress up as (Amanda wants everyone to come as their favorite). Any costume ideas?
