Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 356  |  January 20, 2008
I spent the day browsing through flea markets and thrift shops with my mom. Iím one of those shoppers that make sales clerks want to shoot themselves: I sift through every shiny object and rack of clothing, try on dozens of outfits, and take forever deliberating over which items to buy before finally settling on a single thing (if Iím lucky!).

I guess itís about the thrill of the huntóyou never know what youíll find on those dusty shelves or overcrowded racks. I just enjoy the experience more than I do the actual objectsóa lot of times itís doing things that makes me happier than actually having things. Okay, except for maybe getting my hands on a Macbook Air. Having one of those cute little laptops would make me very, very happy.
