Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 333  |  December 28, 2007
Itís D-day! This is me in my cubicle on my last day at the office. Our interns are so cute! They gave us very practical Christmas presents: Monogrammed coffee cups big enough to hold at least three servings so we donít have to keep visiting the kitchen for refills every five minutes.

These smart students seemed to have already learned the real secret to getting ahead: Climbing the career ladder is more about making yourself indispensable to higher ups than clocking 70 hours a week at the office. Hey, itís the quality of your work (not the quantity!) that really matters. Oh, and sucking up helps, too.
