Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 326  |  December 21, 2007
It’s a Friday night in Syracuse, so my sisters and I headed to our old stomping ground, an Irish pub called Coleman’s, to meet up with high school friends. This is me with my old pal Marissa. She’s one of those friends I may not see for years, but when I do, it’s just like we’d never been apart: We still laugh at each other’s jokes even when no one else thinks that we’re funny, we aren’t afraid to be silly and rock out on the dance floor even when we’re the only ones out there, and we have that annoying habit of always going to the bathroom as a team. And for all you boys who wonder why women tend to go to the bathroom together, it’s because we’re talking about you. But I know that you’ve already figured that one out. Ha!
