Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 298  |  November 23, 2007
God had mercy on me and granted me another Thanksgiving dinner since I was sick for the original. After sleeping for 12 hours straight (I havenít done that since high school!), I was cured of my stomach bug. So Bryant and I went to his brotherís friendís completely solar-powered home to indulge in more turkey, stuffing, and cookies.

The host whipped up dinner while his wife greeted guests and watched their two beautiful kids. Iím beginning to wonder if the reason that people seem so relaxed, entertaining appears so effortless and raising children looks like a breeze is because LA embodies that easy-living vibe. Iíve sure never come across families that create such a Martha-Stewart like ambience in New York City! Well, at least not where there wasnít a live-in nanny.
