Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 296  |  November 21, 2007
In an effort to burn extra calories in preparation for the turkey-and-stuffing feast well devour tomorrow, Bryant and I biked from Venice Beach, past the boats docked at Marina Del Ray and almost made it to Manhattan Beach.

The plan kind of backfired because all that pedaling made us so hungry we had to stop for ice cream and hot dogs along the way. Still, being outdoors in the sunshine felt so good. I wonder if it would still feel this good if I lived in LA, where the weather is almost always perfect. Im sure Id be outside biking, surfing or running every single day.
