Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 252  |  October 8, 2007
So yesterday I said my sister Kate amazed me by being a nurse and taking care of sick people. This bodes well for me because I am kind of a hypochondriac. Since Iím back in Syracuse visiting my family, I made my mom get me an appointment with a dermatologist because I was convinced that I had skin cancer. When I showed the doc the little pink patch on my bikini line, he said it looks like a bump that had just been irritated by shaving. I had all kinds of scenarios running around in my head about needing skin grafts, or worse, chemo. But I am happy to report itís just razor burn.
