Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 160  |  July 8, 2007
I’ve been burning the candle at both ends—going to the office for a freelance-editing gig in Manhattan during the day, hitting the gym or meeting up with friends after work, and then heading home to write other assignments into the wee hours of the morning. This is Meghann, my editor who I refer to as “my guardian angel.” She always gives me an assignment just when I need it most.

Traveling around the world showed me there’s a lot more to life than work alone, so I make sure to move my body or connect with friends every single day. Still, when I’m packing my schedule like this, something’s gotta go. And for this week, it’s sleep. Ah, how I miss my bed.
