Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 100  |  May 9, 2007
Maybe it’s because I’m nearing the end of my yearlong trip, but I’ve been packing in as many touristy activities as I can. And word on the street is that you can’t visit Sydney without climbing the famous Harbor Bridge. So I zipped up the BridgeSuit and strapped on the safety harness the company provided, and envisioned myself repelling off the 440-foot bridge, Spiderman-style. Hearing from those who’d gone before that the Bridge Climb was “adventurous,” “tiring,” and “scary,” I was surprised when the three-hour walk was just that—a walk! We scaled lots of small steps, but there was no adrenaline-pumping abseiling involved. I’d describe the Bridge Climb more as “romantic,” “relaxing,” and “beautiful.” You sure can't beat the view.
