Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 77  |  April 16, 2007
Three words: Oh. My. God. The girls and I have been chosen to be "ambassadors" for an Aussie travel insurance company called World Nomads. In exchange for a very, um, colorful camper van, cell phone, computer and iPod, we have to blog on their site ( about three times a week. They're also affilated with Lonely Planet, so we've agreed to highlight one hotspot from this traveler's Bible each week.

I thought driving an automatic economy car on the opposite side of the road in New Zealand was tough. Now that seems like a walk in the park (or drive on a flat country rode). Being the only Lost Girl who knows how to drive stick, I had to navigate my way through Sydney's busy streets in a vehicle the size of a small house while trying to shift gears with my left hand. And I lived to tell the tale.
