Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 69  |  April 8, 2007
Happy Easter! While Amanda and Jen were off bungee jumping yesterday, I went to the grocery store to buy chocolate and lollipops to fill their baskets (which I constructed from plastic yellow bowls from the hostelís kitchen and shreds of green paper). Then I hid them in our closet with some Easter poems for them to find. Of course, I took the liberty of buying extra chocolate-covered marshmallow eggs for myself. After eating more than my fair share of sweet treats, I decided to take a gondola ride to see Queenstown from above. Iím not a hugely religious person, but looking at the gorgeous view sure made me feel closer to heaven.
