Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 47  |  March 17, 2007
Clearly I’ve got the luck of the Irish because the coolest family ever opened up their home to us this weekend. A friend from New York put me in touch with Wendy, who lives in a cozy house near the beach with her adorable one-year-old daughter, Amelie, and partner, Greg. They fed us, let us do our laundry and even took us to a dinner party so we could get an inside glimpse into Kiwi life. This is Jen and I kicking back with Wendy (the beautiful blonde) and Cam (another dinner guest) while sipping wine and Baileys after a delicious barbecue. I had a very happy St. Paddy’s Day indeed.
