Watch Me Turn 30, by Holly C.
I'm a 29-year-old New Yorker who inherited this site from my pal, Holly P., to document the final year of my twenties. Right up until I turn the big 3-0 next January, I'll use this blog to indulge my inner-narcissist by voicing the good (I can date men anywhere from ages 21 to 50 without it being scandalous) the bad (I keep getting ma'amed) and the ugly (is it possible to get cellulite on your stomach?!). Here's to waving goodbye to my youth, accepting adulthood and remembering that every ending is really just a new beginning.

DAY 46  |  March 16, 2007
To get to the heart of a city fast, nothing beats finding a local to act as an impromptu guide. We were lucky enough not to have to search for one—our very own personal guide found us. This is Carmi, a dedicated blogger who follows our website and emailed us promptly upon discovering that The Lost Girls were landing in her hometown of Auckland. Not only did she recommend the top places to visit, she picked us up right at our hotel and personally escorted us to must-sees such as the Auckland Museum and a popular weekend market. She even made us a mixed CD of up-and-coming music by trendy New Zealand bands. Speaking from experience, Kiwis are some of the most hospitable people on the planet.
